We've been working hard on Iffy, stripping out all the complexity of Gumroad to do with managing the potential for bad actors. There's a whole new trend of services that now have increased value because the smaller you can make your codebase, the more you can use AI to do.

If you have hundreds of lines of code (Gumroad had thousands) dedicated to managing suspensions, probations, payouts, compliance, appeals, and more... Iffy can replace all of that for you, and then give you (or your team, though you may not need one anymore) a slick UI to manage your moderation guidelines.

We're trying to sell this the boring way, because a tight integration with your software will lead to the most value creation, so there's no firm price tag. But it should be 10-20% of your current costs. We don't plan on making much money with Iffy for the first few years; rather, we want to build a really great tool that means creators and indie hackers don't have to think about the unfun parts of selling stuff on the internet...
